You’ve left the building…

We’ve got some quick tips for you if you’re going away. Even when you’re not home, there are steps you need to take to ensure you’re plumbing while you’re gone.

If you’re going out of town for more than a few days turn the water off at the main control, which is typically in an inside closet, under the house, or in a laundry room. This will not only save you money while you’re gone but prevent any sort of emergency or flooding that could happen while you’re gone. Don’t come home to damage in your home.

You can also make sure your outdoor plumbing stays efficient. If you’d like to add a shut-off after your sprinkler system, so that your landscaping stays green while you’re on vacation, give Mr. Green a call and we’d be happy to add one.
